Step back in time at Qasr Al Hosn, Abu Dhabi’s oldest heritage site, located in the heart of the capital. Dating back to the 18th century, this historic fort was once a defensive watchtower, royal residence of the Al Nahyan family, and the seat of government. Today, the beautifully restored sandstone monument operates as a museum, showcasing the Inner Fort (1795), Outer Palace (1940s), ancient artifacts dating back to 6000 BC, and immersive digital exhibits that bring Emirati history to life. Tickets also include access to the House of Artisans, Cultural Foundation, and Bait Al Gahwa, where visitors can experience traditional Emirati crafts, art, culture, and Arabic coffee heritage.
